  1. Open Berry-Setup.exe from your Downloads. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, choose More info and then Run anyway. That warning appears for every new app until Windows has seen it many times.
  2. Click through the installer. It installs for your account only, with no administrator rights, and can start Berry with Windows.
  3. Let Berry fetch its models on first start (0.7 to 2 GB, depending on the chat model you choose). After that it never needs the internet.
  4. Talk. Tap Alt + Win and ask something, or hold Ctrl + Win while you speak to type into any app. Berry lives in the tray (bottom-right); right-click it for Settings.

To uninstall, use Windows Settings → Apps. Your settings and history in %USERPROFILE%\.berry stay unless you delete that folder.
